S1, Ep2
He still tried to warn Erukisha and Nicko that Bright was winning the season if she got to the end, but the bromance knew that Elijah was an even bigger container for the win, so he was voted out 3-1 and became the 8th member of the Jury.
The cast of Survivor: Philippines was said to be ”an All Stars cast“ as it consisted mostly in fact of the most known and reputated people in the group. They could already see themselves in finale, but an unprecedented event happened during the Final 9 tribal.
Jonathan told Carter and Abi-Maria that they were going to vote for Denise, so as to circumvent the possibility of Malcolm playing his Idol, and then went to work on lobbying Michael.
He questioned Denise about why she played a better game than Lisa or Michael. The most known figures formed the Populars tribe and the nobodies formed the Outcasts tribe. Its slogan, Pautakan, Pagalingan, Patatagan can be roughly translated to "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast" in Filipino. Lisa and Michael, on the bottom of the Tandang alliance, eventually flipped sides, working with the remnants of Kalabaw and Matsing to eliminate the other former Tandang members. When the Host of the Shortterm group, DavidIsCooI, announced that there would be a Longterm, excitement was high and many applications were sent in. Malcolm, to deter the others from voting against him, pulled out his Hidden Immunity Idol to show the entire tribe and claimed he would play it that night; Abi-Maria also pulled out her Hidden Immunity Idol. He was a bit hesitant, bun he did it in the end and negated 4 votes against Erukisha.
At Tribal Council, the tribe discussed performance at challenges.
Per the rules, a second vote was held where the castaways involved in the tie would not vote and the remaining castaways could only vote for those who tied. After two rounds of voting, Tribal Council remained tied. The premiere was an event waited by hundreds of people. During the finale night, Bright received a lot of hate from four jurors : Ari, Dxrk, Jeremy and Jamie.
The FuckAlliance knew they had to save their alliance member, particularly Bright. On the morning of day 36, Denise woke up with severe pain on the left side of her neck which she surmised was from a bite.
Survivor Philippines was a good season with a couple of great players who really stand out (Malcolm and Denise), a few returning player, and that one player who you can't stand watching that everyone dislikes that usually gets voted out early (Abi). In the end, Michael and Lisa chose to keep Denise in the game, sending Malcolm to the jury. Michael and RC discussed flipping, telling Jonathan they could not work with Pete and that they wanted him gone. Even though the bromance were her best allies and friends during the whole merge, she thought she was capable of doing that move. While talking with Lisa during the loved ones' overnight stay, Justice reminded her that Survivor was a game and that gave her renewed confidence that she could really play the game.
Everyone was looking up to her, but Dan didn't like what he was seeing.
Unfortunately, he woke up too late for the challenge, and joined in the middle of the tribal.
This made Denise suspicious of Malcolm's loyalty and forced her to strike a deal with Lisa and Michael to vote out Malcolm. Malcolm and his brother Miles won the challenge. Denise suggested to her alliance that they vote for Artis to guard against Abi-Maria playing her Hidden Immunity Idol or giving to Pete as she figured that Abi-Maria would be too selfish to give it to Artis.
When the vote came, Dawson was voted out.
At the Immunity Challenge, Matsing had the lead for much of the obstacle course stage, but lost to Kalabaw at the final stage, and went to their fourth Tribal Council in a row. At the reward, Kalabaw was surprised by an undeclared extra reward of letters from home.
The season was filmed on the island of Peleliu in Palau. The contestants include 15 new players to the game and three returning players, who were previously removed from their earlier seasons due to injuries.Malcolm Freberg returned to compete in the following season, The fifteen new castaways were split into three tribes and then introduced to their final tribe members, three returning castaways that had been medically evacuated from their previous seasons: The tribes merged with Tandang holding the majority.
Because of that mistake, she got voted out 5-4-1 and became the 3rd member of the Jury. Jonathan told his tribe that the deal was okay because he promised that he could catch fish. He was started showing his unloyalty to them as he was making deals with the other side too, and proved to look out for himself only. After 3 days, there was already an attempt to make a revolution but it didn't work as the Outcasts were too afraid of going against Ari, who got them all to vote Dan out first in a 9-1 vote.
