Just go to youtube and type in "Peyton Barber highlights" in the search box. Let's not get carried away. That's the problem.
Totally TD dependant and he doesn’t exactly score them in bunches.

He has always had a very low ypc and isn’t good at avoiding contact.

They brought in Ellington who is excellent in the passing game and is very familiar with Bruce Arians’ system. He’s not fast. He isn't a plodder, though, watch some highlights of him on youtube if you're still not convinced. This section compares his draft workout metrics with players at the same position. Jones 1 carry for 3 yards, 3 catches for 13 yards. No need for me to suffer all over again watching this bum plod his way to 3.7 ypc and be completely useless in the passing game.

lol, you know what I meant. Peyton Barber isn't a blodder, he's deceptively fast for his size and is very talented.

I would love to see that happen. Im thinking Barber is JAG, im not touching outside of desperation picks for RB in best balls. Barber enters training camp atop the depth chart, but if Jones shows significant development, last year's starter could be staring at a workload closer to what he saw in 2017.Barber went from depth option to lead role after Doug Martin flopped, and for the second straight year Barber showed why he's not particularly well suited for the role. McKissic will handle most of the backfield snaps in Washington this year.John McKechnie analyzes the 2020 rookie class and looks at which first-year players are likely to make a fantasy impact this season.

If you saw a lot of Bucs games this past year like I did, you would see that he was a victim of poor blocking where many times defenders were already in the backfield before he was able to even flinch. Exactly.

Also is now 30 years old. In addition to holdovers Adrian Peterson and Bryce Love, the team brought in third-round pick Antonio Gibson and passing-down specialist J.D. Also very mediocre in the passing game. He isn't a plodder, though, watch some highlights of him on youtube if you're still not convinced. This guy sucks. I'm getting Barber VERY late, as in last round in best ball drafts. Two preseason games into the 2018 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting running back is Peyton Barber. lol, you know what I meant. He has the frame and low pad level to bang out yards between the tackles, but he doesn't have the speed, burst or elusiveness to do much damage on the rare occasions when he does make it to the second level, and he hasn't shown any ability to catch passes. All of that could change now that Bruce Arians is in charge. Outside of Doug Martins 1400 yard season there havent been any RBs that have done anything. I see at least "a chance" that Barber is the guy again but with the likelihood they draft another back in the 2nd or 3rd to compete...

See red zone opportunities inside the 20, 10 and 5-yard lines along with the percentage of time they converted the opportunity into a touchdown. Also very mediocre in the passing game. Barber has shown some flashes of being a RB3 and maybe a borderline RB2 upside. Assuming they add someone though.

Exactly. Would you prefer Ronnie Jones or Barber in the last round? Barber went from depth option to lead role after Doug Martin flopped, and for the second straight year Barber showed why he's not particularly well suited for the role.

Arians was able to snag David Johnson in the 3rd round in 2015, so they could draft someone. He certainly isn’t a generic form of LSD available in various colors.

Unless TB drafts a talented RB, I'd just avoid the TB backfield and look to instead add pieces of the Arian's passing game via WRs/TE. 3.7 ypc, a whopping one game over 100 yards, and 20 catches on the whole season. Also worth noting, Barber averaged 4.3 ypc at Auburn, which is horrendous in college. Also is now 30 years old. The Bucs drafted Ronald Jones II in the second round and will give the rookie every chance to cement his spot at the top of the depth chart, but Barber's skill set could allow him to hang onto a role as the team's short-yardage and goal-line back in an effort to save the 205-pound Jones from unnecessary punishment.Barber exceeded expectations in 2016, making the practice squad out of preseason and then receiving a promotion to the active roster just before regular-season opener. I'm hearing a lot of good things about him from the coaching staff and it sounds like they plan to use him a lot. I'm not sure Jones is any good either, but he at least offers a perceived upside. It's because I have a lot of Barber memorabilia that I want to go up in value.
