On Tuesday, June 2, Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire on the deck of a home in the Copperwood neighbourhood of west Lethbridge. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been delayed due to the intense heat inside and outside of the scene, but it's believed the fire ignited in an attached garage.

Two homes were destroyed and a third suffered severe damage in south Lethbridge after a fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon. Initially one of the children told Frame someone was in their backyard. There have been reports indicating explosions had been heard in the area at the time of the fire.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has put many events on hold, the construction of the new station has been going smoothly other than delays due to the virus. Felice Stewart is organizing the fundraiser and has set a goal of $20,000.
