The ending scene of the film was also quite nice and a lot of more character focused than the original.It's a slighter, lighter version of its predecessor, which isn't a bad thing in the least.
It's a similar 50's setting and premisse but with a higher budget and less dark. Overall, a decent drive-in movie in it's own right even though it stands in the shadow of a classic.It's quaint but fun at times and held together almost entirely by the charisma of the three main characters - Don Johnson and Robbin Mattson are especially great. Give it a try and see what you think. I am a huge AIP fan and love me some cheese, but this was just plain idiotic. This is light fair that I found entertaining.
